Below: In the 2000s, Mathmos commisioned Ross Lovegrove, to create a new take of the lava lamp for the new Millennium ahead, the result was Fluidium. Fluidium presents an organic version of the lava lamp, playing homage to the organic formations within the lamp to create a design that shattered people's perception of what a lava lamp could possibly look like. Fluidium was launched in: Opal, Orange, Yellow and Green, with colour combinations which matched the base and cap colours. In particular the Orange featured an extra colour combination of Violet/Orange and the Green featured an extra colour combination of Blue/Green. Fluidium in Opal and Orange were discontinued leaving the Yellow and Green models produced over time. This page presents a photo gallery of all things Mathmos Fluidium and showcases the colours and the beauty of this amazing lamp.
