The 1990s would see a massive revival in the popularity of the lava lamp. Classics from the past such as the Century, Aristocrat and Enchantress were in production, with highly expanded color options. Century also saw a modern Silver Century version manufactured.

Century, Aristocrat, Enchantress with their classic brass metal designs from the orginal Hy Spector era, would be in production, showing how timeless they truly are. Silver Streak, Midnight, Princess and Electric series lamps are all takes on the classic Enchantress design of the 1970s.

Accessories such as Aroma Rings and Lava Lids allowed you to personalise your lava lamp. For special moments there was the Ceramic Icon series which features ceramic bases and in the case of Series II, ceramic caps as well. Giant lava would be an amazing giant lava lamp and was offered in two different finishes. Wizard translated the Carlisle shape of the past and up-dated it to be more magical and more themed, with star and moon cutouts and fast moving glitter.

Century is presented as the 52oz series and in 1999 it was offered in the classic and beautiful brass finish, a modern silver finish as the Silver Century. The Century is a classic. Aristocrat, is the second take on the 52oz lamp which features the same two part base construction as the Century but with different tighter angled lines, which gives Aristocrat, the elegance of a Martini glass. Aristocrat was first introduced in 1966. In 1999, it was offered in a beautiful brass finish, a modern silver finish and a classic black finish. The Giants are in a world of their own. Giant lava lamps are a showcase to the lava lamp liquids and essentially a giant version of the Century. These lamps were actually first seen on the 7th May 1990 at Shelter, a nightclub in Chicago, to celebrate the 20th Birthday of the lava lamp in Chicago. "Sometimes even Baldovin`s attention wanders to the giant lava monster, which he says is still being perfected but should retail for around $200. It was created specifically for the company`s 25th birthday.

It`s like heaven, man

''Isn`t this great,'' he says, pointing to the twisting cabbage-size balls of red goop in the king-size golden base. "To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the lamp, the Chicago-based manufacturer, threw a party here with 500 lava lamp fans who waxed metaphysical and traded lava lamp stories.

Guests wandered about a new wave club lit by 200 lava lamps, which made the place a kind of lava lamp museum.

The Psychedelic Swirl Series was a beautiful 32oz lamp series and each piece is swirled uniquely. Original Swirls were produced in Red, Green, Purple and Blue. Psychedelic Swirl lamps were a fun take on the classic 32oz lamps. Other takes include: Midnight, Princess, Silver Streak and of course the original Enchantress.

First seen in the 1980s, Midnight is often thought of the lamp that brought back the popularity of the lava lamp. Midnight was a 32oz lamp, essentially an Enchantress but finished in a modern black finish. Or how did Christopher Baldovin say it?

Midnight is famously referenced by Christopher Baldovin in a lava lamp TV segment where he states "some of the things we are going try do is update the look of the item, we have come out with a new black, high-tech black base, some of the new neon colors, we are trying to come up with one that fluoresces in blacklight ..."

Silver Streak is a silver version of the Enchantress. Color and content can be seen below …

Electric, a later series to the Elek-Trick series, features colorful bases and caps for a brighter look and Enchantress is still in production in two different color options.
