Hippie's Gallery | Vintage Ice Buckets Including Pineapple.

Although I focus more on the serious elements of vintage design, there are other bits from the past that catch my eye. In the 1960s with the explosion of social freedoms, the world changed and barware became a very large market all over Europe and other countries which shared these freedoms. One of the iconic symbols of this is the Pineapple Ice Bucket, seen in a multitude of shapes and styles. It was traditionally used to be kept on bars and keep ice cubes. However over time, it can be used for a wide range of things such as cookie jars and containers to keep other elements. Over in France and Italy they had their own designs.

UK Styles Include: Pineapple, Apple, Pear & Orange.

Continental Styles Include: Apple, Pineapple, Tomato in a wide selection of bright colours.
