Mathmos Astro Wall | Modular Lava Lamp Installations

These wonderful images below are courtesy of Tim Reynolds, an industrial designer who worked for Mathmos in the 1990s. They show the Astro wall, in diagram form, at a Mathmos Trade stand and at the The Big Breakfast show. Astro Wall is essentially a modular wall which features nine astrobottles arranged in a wonderful continous pattern. When the wall is illuminated the bottle wills will start work and flow and create a mesmerising effect. Most notably the wall used to stand in multiple sections in the Mathmos office and shop in Drury Lane, London.
