Below: The Black Astro was originally launched in late 2012, and first previewed by Mathmos at the Best of Britannia event in London. The Black Astro joined the Astro Baby and Telstar which shipped with Black bottles. Black Astro features a beautiful matte anodised black finish, and was offered first with Clear-Black and Clear-Orange bottles. In 2013, the 50th Birthday of the Mathmos lava lamp, the product would become part of Astro Heritage products and offered with Black, Turquoise and Pink bottle options.
